RAMIS
Rapid Assessment Material Inventory and Security
(www.dontcount.com)
It’s no secret that for a test publisher, state assessment test administrators and for school districts and campuses a lot can go wrong between the time that test materials are boxed and shipped for testing to the time those same materials are returned for scoring. Usually six or eight weeks have gone by and if something has gone wrong, a carton gone astray, a test booklet misplaced, a wayward answer sheet, it is next to impossible to correct.
What is needed is a completely independent, impartial and objective service that detects and reports to you as soon as something goes wrong so that you can do something about it immediately.
RAMIS, which stands for Rapid Assessment Material Inventory & Security, takes all of the data that a publisher produces while printing, packing and shipping test materials and stores it on our unique, secure website. School and district personnel use our hand held laser scanners to collect bar code information from shipping cartons, test booklets and answer sheets, upload it and then compare it to the data stored on our COPA compliant, RAMIS website.
If there is a problem, our reports let the school, district and publisher, know immediately
